I spent almost 2 years in Tanzania and i did... read more a lot of tours all over the country and i bet it might be hard to find someone comparable to Joseph. He is full of knowlegde about the wildlife, but thats not the only fact, why i recommend Joseph. He is able to make the trip a personal adventure, cause he listen, what kind of tour the customers like to have and he is able to also organize trips in a quiet local way, but also in high class and luxury. I know Joseph now for almost 6 years and i we never came to any kind of problem. Everytime i asked him for help, he never disappointed me and he was organized at every time. I also asked him to guide some friends of mine and yeah, they told me the same. We became good friends at all!
His character, and thats also important for being a tourguide, is very good-hearted, and its easy to find a good conversation with him. He can keep the distance to you, what you will miss at many other tourguides.
All in all, he will teach you about the wildlife out there, but you will have an extraordinary adventure with a lot of laughing and enjoying. Just tell him, the way you want to go for adventure and he will help you detailed. He does not only know about wildlife, also his german and english is super and he know how to deal withother people. The coffee farmers were super nice and gladly showed us how to traditionally process the coffee.
We spent quite some time with Joseph during our stay. His German is very good, he is very keen on showing you the beauty of his country and we had really interesting discussions. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone visiting the area!
